Brewery...
We brew our own real ales on-site (tours by arrangement) in the old cart lodge located behind the pub.

The brewery has a two and half barrel capacity producing approx 86 gallons of beer per brew. We employ a full mash using English malted Maris Otter barley supplied locally by Muntons in Stowmarket. The bittering, flavour and aroma are provided by leaf hops supplied by Charles Faram. The fermentation utilises a live brewing yeast supplied by the Nethergate Growler brewery in Pentlow.

Beer is brewed to order and available in casks (9 gallon/72 pints), polly pins (4.5 gallon/36 pints) or mini pins (2.25 gallon/18 pints). Please phone Nigel on 01449 741 434 for information including prices and availability.
